The Spiral

I created this experience with an amazing friend about our similar experiences growing up in society

with a rebellious nature, a sense of something being 'off' about the entire thing, dealing with abuse and control and eventually finding a way to begin freeing ourselves. The viewers would walk through the spiral structure we made out of wire fencing and mylar with intense music playing and lighting set up to enhance the experience. Many said it was overwhelming and concerning until they reached the center, then it became more free and the Mylar around the outside allowed time for reflection.
